About Us

Although I am the author of this blog, my husband (Andy) has some input (or at least he gives his input on big posts). We have been married for 10 years and are high school sweathearts. Andy is the calm, positive and amazing one; I am the type A, uber-organized, control freak - we balance each other out nicely. We have a 4 year old son (Declan) and spontaneous triplet girls (Bria, Aven and Stevie).

Declan Jon

About Declan

Declan was born on July 4, 2008. From the beginning he has been a firecracker. He's a strong-willed, independent, energetic boy. He is smart and kind like his father. He has zero patience like his mother, but has the energy of the Barth family. He loves sports (hockey is his favorite), cars/trucks, legos and is currently a fan of all superhero's. Although he was hesitant at first about having all sisters, he is great at being a big brother and loves his sisters dearly...

Bria Lynn

About Bria

Bria is our first born and was born at 1 pound 11 ounces. She is our oldest and has always been the biggest. Even when she was in NICU in our isolette, you could tell what type of personality she would have. She would act out if you weren't paying attention to her and she still does that today at the age of 1. She is a big momma's girl and will let it be known if she isn't getting the attention she needs. She loves to sit on laps and be cuddled. She is our princess...

Aven Joy

About Aven

Aven was our second born and was born at 1 pound 9 ounces. She certainly has had some ups and downs from the beginning (with an infection and hernia surgery), but she is a fighter. Aven has always been the more independent one, even while in NICU and would tend to do her own thing. She isn't as trusting at first and you need to win her over before she opens up with you. But once you do, your golden. Aven is our diva because she isn't as "nice" as her other sisters...

Stevie Rose

About Stevie

Stevie is our youngest and our littelest and was born at 1 pound 3 ounces. She was definately the biggest fighter of the bunch. She has had to overcome a lot with her size, but fights every day. She has changed the most since the early days in NICU and the first few days after she came home... She is now the calmest and laid back of the girls. She isn't as active as her sisters, but enjoys the one on one time if and when she spends it with one of us. She is our chill baby...
