Baby Steps...

Well this weekend was an eventful one... On Saturday the whole family went to the mall and to lunch. Em came with us and the kids did great. Even Declan :-) We did some final Christmas shopping and then went to one of my favs - CPK. Now that the girls sit in the high chairs, it's pretty manageable. Although, they are so short they can barely see over the top of the table. So that's why there was food all over the floor :-) I got a few pictures of the girls, but now that Steve is "mobile," it's just not that easy... They are everywhere - like seriously everywhere... it's like a little pack of wolves that follows you at all times. These are definitely the times where I am happy we have a small house. I can't imagine what they would get into if they had more space.

Here's a picture of my little pack. I think I seriously look down to this every time I am standing still. This happened to be in the laundry room and there they were, right there with me (Aven in pink Bria in purple and Stevie in gray).


And then this happened...

The big news of the weekend is that Bria has taken a few steps. On Saturday night she did it for me, but Andy didn't see it exactly, so I thought maybe I was making it up. But then again tonight she took 2 steps and Andy saw her. I still don't think she is even near walking, but I'm sure she'll surprise us. I also always thought Aven would be the first to walk. But I'm sure it will be a race to see who does first. Here's a pic of all the girls... L to R: Aven, Stevie and Bria. Is it just me or is Stevie and Bria a little unimpressed?
