Merry Christmas!

This was our first Christmas with the girls at home and it was a great one! It's hard to believe that just a year ago they were in NICU in the thick of it and not close to being out of the woods. Now they are happy, healthy one year olds! All the kids had a great time and got way too may presents :-) We spent the day with Grandma Sally, Em, Jeff and then later in the afternoon we went down to my Aunt Connie and Uncle Jim's. It was great to see everyone and great to have somewhere to go to celebrate with extended family... Here are some pictures from the last few days...

Christmas morning - Bria (left) and Aven (right) opening gifts... Stevie (in the back) looking at the big one :-)

Declan opening up the monster lego gift...

Aven happy!

So happy she is clapping...

The girls eating dinner at the Parsons :-)

Andy (with Bria) singing Christmas music to Grandma playing the piano...

The girls in another Christmas gift (technically this was taken before Xmas) - these are brilliant! I think we will save about 150 hours a month since we can bathe them all at once now... And they love it! (L to R: Bria, Aven and Stevie)

These next few photos were actually taken today... I just got these legwarmers, so I extended their holiday clothing by a day... (L to R: Stevie, Aven and Bria)

Bria... I just really loved her pigtails today :-)

Uh oh... Here comes Aven...

And here is the party pooper Aven... As she is getting over being sick, she sure is grumpy!

We had a great holiday and were happy to have everyone home with us this year... One of the cooler non-gifts I got myself this year arrived today as well. I had our previous blog printed and bound into a book (the whole story up until the girls first birthday) and it's pretty amazing... I had heard that you can get these blogs put into books, but this exceeded my expectations. It's a bit like a journal of sorts and I can't wait for the kids to grow up and read them all. I'm thinking I'll get them bound each year or each time I start a new blog site :-)
